Week 4 Day 1 - June 5th - Date Night

So after I took the photos the boys traded places. Well not *right* after but shortly. They got up and went running around outside for a bit. Then Kyler came in for some 'quiet time' and fell asleep almost right away. Q came to visit me and he fell asleep shortly after as well, on my bed.

I got to finish reading my book and get a bit of cleaning done.

Trevor showed up right at 5pm and I had just started to get their supper out for them. I headed off shortly after assuring Q that he could have a fire or ride a bike. He was actually upset to see me go.

I headed out and met up with Arnold but because of the traffic and Q's sphel (sp) I was running late. We had to skip supper but we got to see some free movies (thank you icoke rewards!). Star Trek was good! Nice going for 'younger' crowds to get into it. I had to laugh at the previews... they were 'boys ish' It's like I was at a 'Man's movie" or something (hehe one of the girls behind me said that.

Anyway we got home around 9:30pm and the boys were up as soon as they heard my voice. I took them out in their boots and coats and we watched the campfire for a bit more. It was nice!

It's now 11pm and we finally got them back in their own beds. Fingers crossed no extra babies in bed tonight!

Q and A Post

Ok so Sarah asked for some 'all around' photos of the campsite. I hope these help! I managed to snap 2 more of my boys, not like you don't see enough anyway :)

They start with me looking at the trailer from the road then walking to the right around the campsite. Let me know if you have any questions!

Week 4 Day 1 - June 5th - Sick

Welcome Readers, to the beginning of a ‘new’ week with the Camping Family!

This week is bringing sickness. It’s been a rough morning and night. Again the Raccoons came to visit, but this time it was earlier in the night! Thankgoodness! Arnold went out and checked and they seemed to just want to muck around. Arnold had left out his empty cereal container and they wanted at it. Arnold brought it in the trailer and that was the end of it!

Then after lots of nagging from Kyler we went to sleep. That lasted oh… 10 minutes. Q started SCREAMING. And when I say screaming I mean top-of-the-lungs-my-body-is-going-to-explode-hate-my-life kind of screaming. It was horrible. WE brought him to bed with us and it seemed to calm him down just a bit. But not enough. Arnold felt Q and thought he was hot so Arnold found some drugs and we gave them to Q. He would not go back to bed. The poor boy was having a rough rough night. He ended up spending it with us in bed all night. Did you know that when you add one more person to a double’ish bed that the one person on the left hand side of the bed gets NO covers? Well they don’t! It sucks! The boys took all the covers and I was under my WTP blanket, and that’s all.

Anyway my poor boy is still sick this morning. He didn’t want to get out of bed, or go anywhere, or do anything. I felt so bad for him. I had to get him dressed so we could go grocery shopping or I wouldn’t have made him do it but yeah. I just hate it when he is sick.

Our morning, once we all got up and decided I wasn’t too sick (yep you read that right, I’m not feeling well either) Arnold headed off to get the GO bus and went to work. The highway was a mess so it didn’t really save him much time in the long run. The boys and I finished watching the Monkey movie again (we are so keeping this one for the whole month. The boys LOVE it!) then got dressed. We headed off to the grocery store, and $50.00 later we were done! We got all our groceries (enough to get us through the weekend) and some drugs for Q and our mail and were headed home in less than 45 minutes.

When we got home Q didn’t want to go far so we just hung out on my bed until lunch time, fed the boys and then put them in their bed to watch the movie again. Q fell asleep. The poor boy. Here are the only photos I have of the boys today. Hope you enjoy them.

Week 3 Day 7 - Thursday, June 4th - A Daddy Night

Another Daddy night! Figures I go out for a night and there are no photos! I did snap this one of my boys at 10pm!!!!! Watching their monkey movie!

Have a great night!!

Week 3 Day 7 - Thursday, June 4th - Laundry Day

Yah!! 2 nights in a row and I *think* we are winning. Arnold did end up outside at 5am because a box fell over. Now if that’s because of the raccoons or not we will never know (it was up kinda high, and according to Arnold very shaky so who knows!).

We started this morning running late. How odd that we always seem to be late in such a nice, laid back, atmosphere. But such is life I guess. Arnold was a bit late getting up and in turn everyone was a bit late doing everything. I rushed to the washroom and back so he could be on his way and for some reason he kept forgetting everything.

Once Arnold was off I went through our ‘wear at least 2 to 3 times’ box and found the boys some ‘new’ clothes to wear today. Then it was off. Kyler started with getting our laundry bike stroller and filling it up with things I gave him; our laundry bag, more clothes from daddy, some soap and spray and wash, some drinks, snacks, camera, books, and money. He did a great job (and even included some balls in there for the boys at the playground).

We headed off around 8:30am and we got there at the perfect time! I got the laundry in the first load (towels and things that needed to go in the dryer) and then the boys were off to play. I was surprised that the washer only took a half hour and the dryer only 45 minutes… but that being said, Kristina, be ready to have me bring over some towels to dry. This dryer is good for clothes, not so good for towels!

Shortly after that they told me they were “way hungry” from coming *so* far and doing *so* much that morning so we had our snack of chips and juice.

Another woman came to do her laundry and stopped by to visit with the boys. She even brought her 2 little puppies up to see us when she came back to get her clothes and we visited with her for a while. The boys LOVED having puppies to walk.

I must say I’m surprised how many people sell their houses and just travel everywhere. She sold her house in NFL and drove here and is going to drive around some more this summer. It just surprises me I guess.

We got home and I hung up the laundry while the boys played around for a while. Like my artistic shots?

Q turned on the fan in the RT since it was SO hot in there. It was as if he had never seen a fan before!

Photobucket
Kyler, on the other hand had some different ideas and put the hose on the water spout all by himself (yes I’m in the trailer taking photos, it seems to be the only want to capture them doing cute things). K just about soaked his brother while ‘watering the tree’.

And after a short bike ride it was lunch time. We had our PB and chocolate sandwiches along with apples and PB. Now our new issue is the “Little Raccoons” (read: chipmunks) I’m not sure I like them. The kids were so impressed that they came so close to them during lunch and wanted to feed them. Now I’m fighting a new battle of no feeding the Chipmunks!

After some reading of our books from the library (I have to work on my reading voice) and cleaning up our hands and faces they are off to bed. I love this quiet!

Have a great day!

Week 3 Day 6 - Wednesday, June 3rd - Soccer Game #1

After nap time the boys began with a game of ‘squish the bugs’. They are so funny. All bugs are ‘bees’ so there was bees everywhere!
Photobucket

Then we got on the tour of the city to Soccer. We started with a photo of how we first left the campground:

*In our t-shirt, boots and tiggers

*Then in the car with our suckers after haircuts!

*Then the Library where we got our new bags and 3 books each (As well as 1 movie)
Photobucket
*Mommy saw some serious clouds and was getting worried about the game!
Photobucket
*And found a new splash park for this summer!
Photobucket
*Off to supper!

All the below ones are the first ever soccer game! Enjoy! Few notes – Kyler is Number 8, E is Number 6, Lo is Number 5. The ref (in the light blue shirt) was WONDERFUL! He was great with the kids (see the photos of E and him, he was making fun of her pouting and got her to kick the ball after). It doesn’t help that he is very good looking!

On the way home we stopped at… you guessed it, Reeds Dairy and got our milkshakes.

When we got home we got the garbage and recycle and headed up to the washrooms to brush our teeth and go pee! We came back and watched a half hour of the Monkey Movie (Curious George the one from the library). It was wonderful. While cleaning I found my timer my mom brought and thank goodness because I’m now timing everything! In fact that’s how we got Kyler back in the game at one point!

Hope you all enjoyed! I’m now off to bed.
