Lets see, today it was gross! It was raining pretty bad when we got up in the morning but hey, sometimes it will stop or go away! But not this time. Lori called me around 8am, since we had Zoo plans, and we talked about it and cancelled them. I was going to try and still go (since I needed to get out of the trailer) but not working right now. The boys and I played around until about 10am. I facebook’ed Lori and suggested we go to Scarborough Town Centre, or even IKEA to get out. We both figured IKEA was better option, and cheaper lunch! So off we went. We figured around 11am would be a good time to meet.
The boys and I got dressed quickly and headed off to the post office. We had to cancel our mail forwarding and move our mail forwarding to our new address and it took a while to figure that one out. Then we headed out and started our way to IKEA. By then the rain was getting worse so I figured it might be safer to stay off the highway. We took Sheppard all the way to the store and I guess other people had the same idea. We were really late by then, but it was ok since Lori and the boys were as well.
We headed up to the main show floor if IKEA and wondered and dreamed. Isn’t that always how it is at IKEA? I took a photo of a bed I think I want and that was useful. Costly bed, but it would be useful in the new house. I guess it will have to way for a few pays. We also checked out a new desk, no photos of that one, since I’m going to need a new one in the basement in the scrapbooking room!
When we finished the main floor we headed over for some lunch and then back down to finish the store. All in all it was about 2 hours but well worth it. We headed home and Q fell asleep in the car and I managed to convince K he needed to sleep as well. So once we got them both into their beds, and had their vitimans they were out. I did some more organizing and packing up the van to go to my parents house. It worked out rather well, or at least I think so.
I went to check on supper (roast) and it was falling apart (all the better). I got everything ready to set the table and slowly did some things. Auntie Kristina, Uncle Tim and E were coming over. They are so sweet to be watching our trailer for the weekend (even if it’s raining). We went through all the things they need to know about the trailer and what kinds of things they should be aware of. We gave them our car pass (since the people at the gate know us) and the keys and they left around 8:30 or so. Arnold and the boys and I cleaned up a bit and watched a veggie movie. We had fun. Then off to bed they went. It’s hard to believe that this is Kylers last night at the trailer! Oh well, he won’t know the difference. When he gets home I plan on having his room done, the house generally ready and it will be more exciting for him, I hope!
Off to bed!

Week 3 Day 5 - Tuesday, June 2nd - Kites!
Afternoon readers!
Today has been my ‘Monday’ as we had lots going on yesterday. We hung around today and did nothing! Our biggest thing today was walking to the washrooms just before nap time and Q falling. Poor boy! He got ouies on his hands and knees. Not as bad as his brother but bad enough.
Our morning started E-A-R-L-Y! Not due to the kids but the Raccoons. They got into the bottom box today. They got a few good snacks but not the whole box. Poor Arnold went out last night to clean it up before they ate the whole box and brought their friends! He tied everything up and made it so they couldn’t get in. They did come back a few times. Along with the ‘coons we had some problems with K. I think he had some nightmares last night. He also had an accident last night. I think it was from all the running around and drinking more last night. Not soaking the sheets he just got his underwear wet.
Once we all got back to sleep the alarm went off way to early this morning! We all need naps today!
This morning because it was SO nice out we all got to play outside when Daddy left. We did go back into the trailer to watch a veggie movie and get some clothes on then back outside. Here is a sure sign that the boys have been near nana and papa lately:

After I got some more clothes cleaned up and found the floor again we got out the soccer net and our soccer balls and had some fun! Here’s my little men:

After Soccer got boring for the boys they went on to play “100 Acre woods”. Which means “I capture you in the name of the 100 acre woods!” Kyler captured the bike!

I did my blog updating while this was going on. Then we made lunch for the boys and I and headed off to the washroom where poor Q got his ouie!

I’m hopefully going to catch up on my sleeping as well! It was a rough night. I’m sick now and I have to get better asap!
Have a great afternoon!
While Q went to bed rather quickly today he didn’t stay there long. He ‘napped’ for about 1 hour which is when K went to sleep so I didn’t really get a break. I tried to ‘nap’ with Q but it so didn’t work.
We made supper and played around with our soccer balls. It was a nice relaxing time. Kyler and Quinton were promised a fire if they went to bed so they were all for starting one ASAP. Here’s what I found when I came out of the RT from getting some things to start supper:

Just before supper the person who cuts the lawn came by so we had to move everything. Here’s K putting some back by himself. What a strong little man!

After supper we went to Wal-Mart and got some diapers, wipes and some things for my cold. We also got some kites! Here’s some sequence photos from when we got home:

We went to bed shortly after that. The kids are killing me today with being so rowdy and I’m so tired still. Hopefully my cough meds will help me go to sleep through the night!
Tomorrow is SOCCER GAME!

Week 1 Day 1 - Friday, May 15th
Written - May 16th
Well Day #2 of moving is here. I'm really excited for it actually! Yesterday we were up at 7:30am and moving! The night before DH and I loaded up the van with our 10x17 tent, some things for the gazebo and a few other random things, we also loaded up the trailer with a few things and hooked it all together that night. When we realized about 7:45am that we had NO clothes for the boys we knew we were going to have a fun morning!
We all piled into the van and went to breakfast at CJ's and then off to the campsite. DH talked to the lady at the front and asked if we could 'look around' first before we picked/were assigned a site. She said sure, gave DH a map, marked off what was taken already and told him to go have a look. We picked our site (75) and then had DH go up with the van to get registered. Before he left we got the Trailer level or sort of, and the boys and I were working on 'stealing' rocks from other campsites near us to make a circle around our campfire. All the sudden K goes, "Mom I have to poop!" So off we went on the first of MANY treks to the bathroom. It didn't take us that long (as we are further from the washrooms) but we got up there and K went into the mens washroom. A few moments later he came out and told me he had just peed. I asked if he had washed his hands yet and he goes "opps, nope!" runs back in and tries to wash his hands. I could hear him yelling so I asked if he was ok and he said he needed me to come in and help him. I explained that this was the boys washroom and mommies were not aloud. He insisted he needed help and since it was 9am I figured not alot of people would be in there so I called in to check. There was a campsite worker in there and he said to go right in so I went in, helped wash his hands and off we went back to the campsite.
We got down the stairs, all 19 of them, and the boys both spotted birds and off they went. Then DH came around the corner from getting things set up at the front and we jumped in the van and headed back to the campsite. We managed to get the trailer up and generally put together before long.
I'll post more but I just realized how 'late' it was this morning (already 7:20am) and we have to get back to the house for 8am! I have to go and wake up Nana and Papa and let them know they are on Grandparent duty soon.
Hopefully our thundershowers we had last night will be the end of it for today!

I'm all done, well generally all done.
con't about yesterday:
We got the trailer generally set up (ie beds out, leveled, electrical hook up, and the dresser up) and my parents came in. The kids were so excited to see them. We went to chat with them a bit more then Arnold and I started emptying out the van. We had the boys mattress and the 10 by 17 foot tent in there. IT worked out really well to just transport those things at first. We made sure things were set with my parents, they understood where we wanted everything and off we went!
Arnold and I headed off to the campsite to the house and started getting things moving. We packed up a few things and got ready to move some more around. We first made a storage unit run, then hit up the computer repair place so I could get my computer back and got some lunch. Afterwards we went home and got a load for the trailer. We went back and saw everything. I was so impressed. My dad had got the 10 by 17 up and it looked great! We moved a few things in there and then hung out while the boys napped. About 1 hour or so after we got there the boys woke up and we played around and did a few washroom runs/bikes. It was alot of fun!
Around 4:30 or so I asked Dad and Arnold to head back to the house and pick up a few things as the bugs were starting to bite and I didn't want to handle that. I dressed them in their pants, long sleeves and coats and socks. Arnold and Dad went and picked up some cooking things we needed, along with the gazebo(sp) and a few random things. When they got back we started setting up the gazebo and got it up before supper. Mom made crock pot chicken with some chicken stuffing, cheese, and cream of chicken soup. It was SOOO good. She also made some rice to go with it as well.
We headed up to the washrooms around 7:30, 8pm and got the boys faces, feet, legs, arms and hands washed up and clean'ish' as well as brushing their teeth. We walked back to the campsite and said goodnight to my parents and off we went. By the time we got the boys changed and in bed it was already 9pm! I couldn't believe how fast the day had gone.
DH and I stayed up a bit longer, checking e'mail and getting ready for the next day.
That night though... wow.... We had a HUGE thunderstorm around 5am and Kyler ended up waking up and needed to come and snuggle. So he came to see me and DH went and slept in their bed. Overall it went really well. The rain didn't seem to do much to the trailer if anything and everything said and done the placed looked great. Which was a great start to the going to be rainy day!
I'll post more tomorrow and put up some photos. For now my bed is calling my name... and yes I realize it's only 9:20pm
